We had our third baby, first home birth two months ago with the lovely ladies at meadowsweet. We previously had our two boys at a birth center due to me being nervous at living over 30 min from a hospital, but after the first few visits with Melissa and Samantha those fears went out the window. They not only made me feel at peace with a home birth, but they welcomed my two wild toddlers at every appointment, including them in all the things. My birth with all three of my kids were wonderful and empowering, but it’s hard not to regret not having had them all be home births after our experience. It was so special for not only me but my husband and children. Normalizing birth for my boys was important to me. These ladies will always hold a special place in my heart.
